Program Design

  • Medication Management and Administration

Enhanced Illness Management and Recovery (E-IMR) is an augmented version of the Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) program, specifically designed to support individuals experiencing both mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders (CODs). Developed by the University of Minnesota’s Center for Practice Transformation, E-IMR integrates principles from Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT) to provide comprehensive, person-centered care.

  • Psychoeducation: Provides clients with information about mental illnesses and substance use disorders to enhance understanding and self-awareness.
  • Cognitive-Behavioral Techniques: Helps clients identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors.
  • Relapse Prevention Strategies: Assists clients in recognizing triggers and developing coping mechanisms to maintain recovery.
  • Motivational Interviewing: Encourages clients to explore and resolve ambivalence toward change, fostering intrinsic motivation.
  • Goal Setting: Supports clients in establishing and pursuing personal recovery goals.

Community Partnerships and Aftercare HSS / Vocational / Peer Support / ARMHS

HSS

We have established partnerships with several Housing Support Specialist (HSS) organizations. These collaborations are designed to assist clients within our program whorequire support in securing stable housing. Ensuring stable living conditions is crucial for reducing post-program stress and minimizing the risk of relapse.

Vocational

We’vepartnered withvocational programs for client employment, non- profits for technical school funding, and offer free virtual workshops and supportservices for employment coaching skills training. Financial aid is available for unexpected expenses.

Peer Support

We offer personalized one- on-one peer support services to our clients, providing individualized guidance, understanding, and encouragement in a confidential and supportive setting. This tailored approach aims to support eachindividual’suniquejourney towards recovery and well-being.

ARMHS

We have established a partnership with an ARMHS organization to provide additional support and services for clients enrolled in our program. This collaboration enhances the resources available to our clients and aims to further assist them in their mental health recovery journey.
